    You got to love this man, he’s got an amazing voice and his picking guitar style is unique. I discovered this songster several months ago in London, listening musicat a friends home…he seems to be well respected here in England.

    It’s the G Davis style and as far as I know he always play in the key of C, and sometimes capoed somewhere on the neck. Alternating bass.

    C-F-C-G-C-F-C-G-C is the chord progression in a similar song “You Got The Pocketbook And I Got The Key” by G Davis.

    Ya, I wish there were some video of this song by G Davis, but I’m glad we have the sound. The best sound you can get when it comes to ragtime-blues guitar.
